About US

Diane Lade, Guild Certfied Feldenkrais Practitioner, has been teaching Feldenkrais Method since 1995.

Gently unwinding patterns of trauma and activity that no longer serve, Diane facilitates learning that makes a profound difference to the quality of your life. With care and humour, Diane can help you discover how you perpetuate patterns of pain or difficulty and how to live differently, with more ease and self-reliance.

Diane’s dedication to continued growth and study enriches learning for even long-time students. “I share what I’m learning in my own process of becoming more present and living life with less compulsion and more choice.”

Diane brings five decades of experience from a background including studies in piano, dance, and visual arts; two yoga teacher trainings; over 30 years of massage therapy practice; professional training in Feldenkrais Method and Somatic Experiencing, the trauma recovery work of Peter Levine, including Touch for Trauma with Kathy Kain.

She has experience helping people build resources to navigate a broad range of issues such as chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, MS, whiplash, repetitive strain, TMJ syndrome, scoliosis, and frozen shoulder.

Arnie Lade is an internationally recognized author, teacher, and healer.

He now devotes his time to teaching Zen meditation and awareness-based practices. He studied under Willigis Jäger, a Benedictine monk and Zen master, and began teaching Zen meditation in 2013 within the Empty Cloud lineage (Zen-Linie Leere Wolke) under Jäger’s guidance. And in 2020, Arnie completed the three-year Embodied Life Mentorship Program™, developed by Russell and Linda Delman. This program combines teachings from Zen meditation, the Feldenkrais Method, and Guided Inquiry (based on Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing).

Arnie’s healing practice spanned 50 years in the healing and movement arts. He initially trained in Polarity therapy, massage, and manipulative therapies. He studied acupuncture in China in the early 1980s, and his education continued with CranioSacral and visceral manipulation in the late 1980s. He later pursued the Feldenkrais Method, graduating from the professional Seattle/Sun Valley Feldenkrais Teacher Training Program in 2001.

Arnie has authored several books, including Energetic Healing: Embracing the Life Force (1999) and Acupuncture Points: Images and Functions (1989). He also co-authored Tao and Dharma: Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda (1995) with Robert Svoboda, and contributed to Chinese Exercises and Massage (1988).

In his most recent book, released this year, Zen and the Mystic Impulse, Arnie explores the teachings of his Zen Master, Willigis Jäger.
